Sesame Street 1-2-3 Imagine Show!!

April 16, 2010-

A few weeks before the show, my Sister-In-Law, Cecilia, told me that she won 4 tickets to the Sesame Street 1-2-3 Show. We were all so excited. We'd always wanted to take the kids to those kinds of shows, but the prices of the tickets are, sometimes, way too much money.

The show was at the Thomas & Mack, Cox Pavilion. It wasn't a very big venue, and it's good because it was a Friday morning, so not many people were there. It was PERFECT for us. HA! Our seats were not the most fabulous. We were debating on whether to just move down on the floor into the empty seats there, but I didn't want to show my kids it's ok to be dishonest.........and, essentially, steal. Our seats were just fine..........but try convincing the big man of that. HA! I still won the fight. HORRAY FOR ME!

The show was all about teaching kids how to imagine where they want to be, or who they want to be. It was really really cute.

During the intermission, the kids wanted these Elmo balloons that they were selling for a silly amount of money. However, because it was a special occasion, I managed to talk Allan into it. They were so thrilled!! We went down to the floor to go buy them their balloons, and we had a really nice couple take our picture while, we were waiting. Sarah wasn't into. She was driving me crazy then!! But owell. I guess it's not my gift from God to have a good family picture..........where everyone is looking the same direction. OWELL!

All in all, the kids had a fabulous time, dancing and singing. They wouldn't go down to the floor to dance and sing with the characters, like every other excited child there, but they sure rocked it out in their seats. It was a really fun show, and we're very grateful that we were given the opportunity to take them. It was a blast!! Sarah still teaches me how to imagine things. It's really cute.

.............and just for the record............I TOTALLY WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO TOOK PICTURES DURING THE SHOW!! SOOOO!

So fun! Just FYI, this post shows up twice for me (maybe you are working on it as I speak?)...
