Best Date Night EVER!!!!

A few weeks ago, Allan and I went on a date, although, the only plans we really had were to go to a Ramen restraunt, near China Town. The place was pretty good, but not my fave. Afterwards, we couldn't figure out what else to do. I really wanted a chocolate covered strawberry, and my techy husband got on his phone and found a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at The Orleans. Yum strawberries! HA!

Next, we decided we could go to the dollar theaters and see some movie, but there weren't really any movies that we were interested in, so instead we went to the Pinball Hall of Fame, to play some pinball together. It's not my favorite place in the world (although it is now!!), but my husband loves it, and it's super fun to play with him.

We played 2 games on the old machines, and I was actually doing pretty well. I never do very well, if it's not on the XBox. I do better on the XBox, because of what we call "XBox magic". HA! But, apprarently, there was some magic on those tables saved up for me! After we played those 2 games, Allan noticed there were a few new tables that he didn't know about. So he was taking pictures of those tables. I looked over, and saw a table called date night or something like that. I wanted to play it because it was a coffee table type of table, and you had to sit down to play it. I was in the mood to sit down, HA! That was the ONLY reason I played it. I was bored and tired of standing. I didn't realize I had been sitting for as long as I had been. Allan walked over and said I was doing pretty good. I didn't believe him, cause I never do! Heck, I didn't even understand the rules of this table, honestly. It was a weird table. After I lost the last game, the leaderboard came up for me to enter MY INITIALS! We were pretty excited about that, until we saw it was the #1 POSITION!!! I got the #1 score on that table! Allan said he didn't even have a #1 score on any table there. I was on cloud nine! After that, I just kept beating him on almost every table that we played together, except for about 3 tables. HA! (Sorry babe!)

We decided 10:30p is late enough, so we headed home. I took surface streets home, since we live right off of Flamingo. I caught every green light from Tropicana and Stewart all the way down to Tropicana and Ft. Apache! I didn't even have to come to a stop to cross Las Vegas Boulevard! I'm not sure which was the greatest moment of the evening, getting the number 1 score on a pinball table, or catching every green light on that road, at that time of night, on a FRIDAY. I was feeling sort of Godlike, HA! It was definitely my night.

This posting was all about tooting my own horn. Even though it was a while ago, I'm still pretty excited about what happened that night.
