Sarah's Insomnia
So Sarah is driving Allan and I crazy lately. She wakes up about 5 times a night. She says that she just can't sleep. Most of the time, she doesn't mention monsters or anything like that, just that she can't sleep. She comes in our room and snuggles us, which is like snuggling a kicking mule. Or we have to come in there and give her a drink of "Faerie Water". We are lacking sleep so badly that we are getting sick. It's really driving us nuts. We have no idea what to do with this anymore. There are a few nights that she wants me to tell her a story. You'd be surprised at what stories you can come up with at 4a. Also, how your voice sounds at 2:30a. HA! She's trying so hard to be a good girl, I just don't know what's going on here. Could be worse, so I can't complain too much. She's healthy, and REALLY happy and too smart for her own good. So it's ok. We'll figure it out I'm sure.

I am so sorry--I'm sure it feels like there is a newborn in the house. One thing that I learned (with my fourth child) is that not letting them in the bed, but putting a pillow on the ground next to us, made all of the difference to me. Good luck--I hate these phases!
