New Adventures with the Foster Family!

I have had the pleasure of photographing some of the most interesting moments, and some of the sweetest, most heart breaking moments, in my short little photography life. One of the neatest ones I have gotten to photograph is a c-section a few months ago.

I have known the Foster family for a little over a year now. They founded, and run, a support organization called Jalen's Gift Foundation, named after their sweet Jalen, who was born still about 2 years ago. The organization helps families who have lost an infant through miscarriage, still birth or shortly after birth. I am privileged to be able to do Remembrance Photography for their organization, which is a style of photography that I am very passionate about, and is what I feel I am meant to do. It was so special, and such an honor, for them to ask me to photograph such a sweet, personal thing in their lives, as they gave birth to their sweet new little one. I have been a part of so many sad, sacred moments in many families lives, it was so sweet, and appreciated, being a part of a happy, sacred moment.

Thank you Foster family, for including me in such an amazing moment in your lives. It has definitely made an impact on me, and meant so much to me. I couldn't be more grateful for this experience!
