Grace's Baptism

Besides the very special angel baby photos I get to photograph, having the privilege to photograph the sweet children getting ready to be baptized are my favorites to do. I love spending that very special time with them. I love being able to be with them one on one, getting to know them, be silly with them, and learn who they are. I love seeing their excitement for what they are getting ready to do.

Usually, unless they want something different, I take these kids to the Las Vegas LDS Temple. Not only are the grounds just gorgeous, and make a perfect backdrop for such a special session, but I love taking these sweet kids there, because usually, it's their first time going to see the temple. I love seeing each of their faces light up in wonder and pride of where they are at. When I take most kids there, I love seeing them understand how sacred and special this beautiful place that they are walking around, is.

My latest was Grace. Her family are long time friends of ours. Her mom went to high school with my husband at the Las Vegas Academy, and have remained a special part of our lives. It's always very neat and special to photograph our friends' families and milestones. The only request by her mom was that she likes color photos, and likes to see bright vibrant colors in the background. This amazing place definitely delivers that! But, of course, I had to throw some black and white in too. I can't resist! HAHA!
