Allan has a new addiction. It started out innocent enough, but has turned into something that I am concerned about. It's called the Pinball Hall of Fame, or PHoF, as he calls it. I used to think it was fine, because for 2 hours of enjoyment, it only cost him $2.00, but now, he's there all of the time. I try to go with him, when we can, so that I can be involved and supportive of the things that he likes, but now he's trying to recruit the kids. He has even brought it to our church. He had the young men go, and they loved it. OH NO! I'm sorry to future wives of these young boys. Now, he has bought a game for our 360 that has 12 pinball tables, and they are all at this museum, and we play on that. I am sorry to say, I am better than he is. HA!
(Allan playing his true love)
At first, I thought The Pinball Hall of Fame, was pretty cool. There are about 200 different tables, ranging from the first on the market, up to the latest tables out, and all of the really famous ones, and you can play them all! Not only that, after they pay their bills, and do maintenance on the machines, all of the profits go to the Salvation Army. It doesn't get much better. So I didn't mind him going and sort of giving to charity. Stupid me.
He went to the website of this place and noticed that it was really terrible, and decided, out of the goodness of his heart, that he was going to build them a new website, at no charge to them. The guy is super excited about it, and of course, so is Allan. Every waking moment is spent either playing the 360, or down there playing the games and talking to his fellow nerds, or working on the website. His family has gotten into it now too. I'm surrounded! (I'm still better at it than them......shhhh)
I hope this is just a faze and he will get bored of it, but until them, I might need Pinballers Anonymous. Anyone have their phone number or website??
