Sarah's First Boyfriend

Lately, we've been babysitting 2 kids, Hunter and Mia. They are the kids of one of Allan's co-workers. They are stinkin' cute kids. Hunter is 5, I think, and Mia is probably 3, maybe 2. Anyways, since the first day that we started hanging out with their family, Hunter has had a little crush on Sarah. To the point that he calls Sarah his girlfriend.

A few nights ago, we were babysitting Hunter and Mia, and Allan thought it was a brilliant idea to take all 5 kids to Chuck-E-Cheese. (Sometimes, he's just not that bright) On the way there, Hunter insisted on sitting next to Sarah in the car, and they giggled and whispered to each other. We got inside, and of course, it was chaos. But it was still fun.

We left Chuck-E-Cheese, after dinner and volumes of games and tickets later, with our bounties of prizes. I told the kids they needed to hold hands to cross the street. Hunter ran up to Sarah, grabbed her hand, and they couldn't be more pleased. They were soooo cute!!

Well, Allan, regaining some of his intelligence, with the realization that maybe that WASN'T such a grand idea, decided to give them baths, but of course, Hunter cannot bath with Sarah. So we had bath time in shifts. It was like a bath time conveyor belt in our house. The girls took baths with Taylor, and the boys took a bath together. Allan made sure that Sarah got her jammies on in her room, with her door shut. She was completely confused as to why, and all of the other kids thought it was a game. HA! Poor Allan.

After all of that, they were all in the toy area playing, and Hunter kept trying to get Sarah's attention, and kept saying, "Hey, girlfriend! Hey girlfriend!" I told him that her name is Sarah, that he doesn't have to call her that. He said, with a smirk on his face, a little shy, "I know her name, I just like to call her that." And of course Sarah answers.

They are fun to have over. And I know Sarah loves to play with Hunter. Poor Luke and Mia.............they just sit and watch movies. They have no idea what's going on. HA!
