I was sitting at Arby's with Sarah, and she, in the middle of eating and talking about Ellie, said something interesting. This is our conversation today:
Sarah: Mommy, I know the plan.
Me: Yea? What's the plan?
Sarah: First, we waited for Heavenly Father to make our bodies. Then, we came here. And then we die and go back to Heaven. Then we wait for Heavenly Father to fix our bodies and then we come back here.
Me: Wow! Sarah you are very smart! But, why are we coming back here?
Sarah: (Shrugging her shoulders) I don't know. Cause Heavenly Father said to. So we just gotta do it!
Me: Ok.
Sarah: I think Ellie will be there too. Is she waiting for Heavenly Father to fix her body?
Me: I think so. What do you think?
Sarah: Yea. I do too. That sounds good. It'll be so fun when she comes back! I can't wait to see her.
That's Sarah's understanding of the resurrection, I guess. HA! She's a smart little girl. I sure love her, and her perspective.
