2 New Quilts

I just finished 2 quilts for 2 different baby showers. 1 shower I had known about for a while, but procrastinated, and then the other I found out about 3 days before the shower. Either way, I really loved how they turned out. They weren't my most complicated quilts, but I like them.

This is Jessica Price's quilt I made for her. Her family just got baptized a month ago, or maybe more, and then, a few days after she got baptized, she had a new baby boy!

Unfortunately, the back of the quilt looks like it's yellow and blue in the picture, but it's actually a baby lime green color. It's simple but it's cute, I think.

This quilt is a quilt I made in 3 days for Jana Houston. She probably has no idea who I am, but I heard about her shower, that was to be held on Wednesday, on Sunday in Primary. I figured, women were nice enough to have a shower for me, even though they had no idea who I was, because we were new in the ward at the time, and even hand make me things for Taylor, I would like to do the same.

It didn't turn out perfect, obviously, around the boarder. But I didn't care too much, I really really loved this one. Not only that, I had to have Tara bring it to the shower for me, because Allan had a meeting for church he had to attend, and I didn't get it to her until 5:45p, and she was leaving at 6p, HA! Nothing like last minute, right?

I am excited to continue making these for people and be the lady in the ward that makes blankets for new babies in the ward. HA! Look out ladies! Nah, I just love doing service for people, and if this is something I can do for service, I am a happy lady.

Ummm... can I be in your ward? ha ha! I love your ambition! It takes me sooo long to do quilts... that is why I sew clothes, gratification in three hours at the most;)
