Happy 6th Anniversary!!!
Yesterday, Allan and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. Granted, we both forgot about it, until about 2 days before, and Allan already had something planned, with his nerd friends, at the pinball hall of fame. I didn't mind, I had Target shopping to do. So we decided, we would do something on Saturday.
This is what we did. Saturday morning, we got everyone up, and met Lincoln and Cecilia, and my mom and step-dad, at a few houses, to see what we thought of them. Then we went to a 1st birthday party, then dropped the kids off at my parents house for naps and we went out to lunch. After lunch, we decided to go watch Justin, my little brother, do his Tae Kwon Do testing for his brown belt. And finally, we picked up the kids from my mom's house, and took them to Allan's parents house. From there, we went to Justin and Christine's birthday party at Laser Quest. Allan and I played a game of laser tag with a bunch of 10 year olds, and kicked their butt's, and then we went to Best Buy to look at some appliances and price those things out. Afterwards, we went to In N Out and got some miilk shakes.
So, how romantic was that evening? Actually, it was one of the best nights I've ever had with my husband. Actually, one of the best days. We looked at some GORGEOUS houses, had a great, and helpful conversation with my parents, and then had an amazing evening with my husband, playing and acting goofy. It wasn't the most magically planned out evening, but it was magical to me. Allan and I were so happy and snuggly and lovey, and I think, when you have kids, and you get in the daily life routine, you forget to be lovey dovey and snuggly. I missed it, and I can't wait to do more of it.
Happy anniversary to my husband. I am so happy that I married him. It was the best decision that I have ever made in my life. He is my light and happiness. He brings my life so much sunshine, and I'm looking forward to many more adventurous anniversaries, Rogers' style. I love you.

Happy late anniversary! It sounds like it was fun to me! Anything away from the kids is usually enjoyable.
