Sarah's New Do

This last Sunday, my Sister-In-Laws step mom came over for Sunday dinner usual. She cuts hair for a living, and we've all been trying to get with her to get our hair done. So she decided that she would bring over her clippers and scissors, and beautify everyone. Sarah went first. She needed to have her hair trimmed, for the longest time, but we've just been afraid to do it, because he hair grows so slowly! It took us 4 years (her whole life) to get her hair as long as it was!

So Sarah sat in the chair and I asked her if she wanted short hair or long hair. She said, "I want short hair like my friend Halle." I thought it was so sweet. I asked her 3 times if she was sure she wanted it short like Halle's hair. She kept saying yes. Allan did NOT want her hair cut. It was weird, because he's never cared before, but that night, he did. After he saw the finished results, he was really happy with it. She looks so much older, and it really matches her personality.

I just love the next photo's. She couldn't help but pose like "Cinderella". She cracks me up.










Anyone wanna teach me how to do her hair now. I'm so hair illiterate.



Now, Luke and Taylor were not so easy. Luke cried and cried and screamed and cried. But finally, he looks less like a boy, and less like a goat in need of a hair cut. Taylor, he just didn't want to do anything that involved someone holding him, and no food. So I gave him food, and he sat still for half the time. Typical.
