Luke's Birthday

Shocker of all, no photos!! What were we thinking?!

The 16th was Luke's official birthday. He is a full fledged 3 year old now......tear. We had a fabulous day! I had invited the Truman's over for a play date/lunch thing, and it worked out that it was Luke's birthday, so even better excuse to eat cake! Horray!

The kids had a blast playing with all of their friends. I think Luke has a small crush on Sage...........I'm ok with that. I had every intention of making a practice Toy Story cake for the small gathering of troops, but I just never got time. I was WAY more into cleaning my house. So, when we got up, I asked Luke what he wanted for his friends to eat for lunch. He told me Sponge Bob Macaroni n' Cheese. So to Albertson's we went! I let him pick out an already made cake and his mac n' cheese. He picked a St. Patrick's day cake...........wow.

The kids played for a while, running back and forth and back and forth, and havin fun. Tara and I chatted for a bit, in between peeking outside to see if they were all accounted for, and me jumping on the trampoline for a minute, with Chase and Luke. Tara (or Taralee?? I don't know........Tara takes less energy to say, HA! Sorry!) didn't do any jumping. Slacker. I know she can, I saw her do it in primary.

After lunch, we let them play for a bit, and then I cut into the cake and served it to the already busy group. I let Luke put his 3 candles in his slice of cake, and we all sang happy birthday to him, off key of course. HA! Just not the same if you're all on key, right? I didn't get to eat any of the wonderous green cake, however, while I was changing Taylor, I looked up at Tara, while she was talking and her mouth was GREEN!! Then all of the kids came inside and they were all green too!! We all got a kick out of that.

I have later found out that everyone is pooping green from the green cake. I think that's pretty funny. We may not have green on, on the outside, for St. Patty's day, but we're all green on the inside. HA! Just don't ask them to prove it.

It was a fun low key birthday, and now Luke thinks they are coming back every day to play. HA! NEXT UP! Birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese. There will be photo's of that.......if I have time to take them. UGH!

Happy birthday big boy!!

Happy Birthday Luke! Not too many people can say they made their guest poop a different color. Wow!
